An amazing lens with the widest possible view on a full frame sensor on Sony native E-mounts. Perfect for use with the Sony A7s and Sony FS7. WIth fast and smooth autofocus you can put this lens on a Sony A7SMk2, put them together onto a DJI Ronin-M and just point and shoot. No need for focus remotes and pulling, the Batis will smoothly shoot everything you point it at. It has proved popular with the skater boys in our office.
And the extraordinary wide 99 degree field of view makes for dramatic moves with little distortion. Despite being such a wide angle, there is none of the barreling effect you’d expect, so it is also good for showing off architecture without curving the lines of a building. A brand new lens for a brand new way of filming.
