The FS7 has been designed with one-man operation in mind, there’s a big emphasis on flexibility making it easy to handle and operate, it comes with an adjustable arm section with a powered grip to operate a selection of camera functions. The PXW-FS7 features a 4K Super 35mm Exmor CMOS sensor and support for shooting up to 4K.
The mount is the same as on the A7S, (E-mount NEX style) which means it can be used with adapters to just about any lens standard from Canon EF to Arri PL (with support). Or the FE PZ 28-135mm F4 G OSS kit lens offers a reasonable way to get servo shooting covering 28-105mm at F4.
While not as sensitive in low light as its baby cousin the A7S, like the A7Sii, this camera can shoot 4K internally and is set to be the camera that finally replaces the C300 in everyday TV production.
