Easyrig Vario 5
Finally, an Easyrig for gimbal stabilisers – the Easyrig Vario 5.
Ronins and MoVIs are incredible gimbal tools for creating smooth free flowing tracking movements. But supporting them purely on the operator’s arms quickly leads to fatigue.
The original Easyrig was not the most perfect choice for taking off this load for two reasons: firstly, an inability to easily vary the load supported, and secondly, the shape of the vest wasn’t right for the type of load that a gimbal puts on it, making it uncomfortable and ineffective.
Easyrig now have an improved version that addresses these issues: the Vario 5. Though it’s suitable for use with gimbal rigs, it can still be used to support a camera on its own as well.
The Easyrig Vario 5 still delivers the same steady handheld shots while relieving strain on your back, neck and shoulders. The load is redistributed to the hips allowing you to shoot handheld, in comfort, for hours.
The new vest designed for gimbal rigs has a different support system aimed at operators using handheld rigs. It has a wider front, fitting around the waist and over the hips. This provides superior lower back support that allows the operator to carry weights further away from the body.
The Easyrig Vario 5 gives you the same advantages as our other Easyrig models with the added benefit of being able to adjust the line tension to adapt to many different cameras and configurations. The weight range is adjustable via a screw on the back to change the tension of the line to support from 5kg to 17kg (11-38 lbs) of load.
Finally, we supply the 230mm support arm with our system to give the best height for a gimbal system. So protect your back and arms and shoot for longer with this great system.
